Biographical Data:
Dr. Robert E. Shadwick joined the Marine
Biology Research Division (MBRD) of Scripps Institution of
Oceanography in 1989. His research interests include
skeletal connective tissue mechanics and animal locomotion,
energetics and mechanics of fish swimming, hemodynamics and
mechanical design of circulatory systems, and marine biomaterials.
He is an author on over 50 publications. Return
